Draw your design onto the lino plate with a pencil. Notice the design to the side for reference | |
Start to carve the plate | |
Finish carving the plate (watch the hands) | |
Ink the roller from the glass | |
Start to ink the plate getting rid of excess ink in the open areas | |
Make sure the plate is thoughly and evenly inked without filling in the low areas | |
Line up the paper and plate | |
Carefully place the paper on the plate | |
Position the paper and set in place gently with the back of the hand | |
Press down the paper either damp or dry with your hands, a batton, a wooden spoon, being careful not to damage the paper | |
Pull off the print from the plate | |
